Louise has over two decades of professional experience in PR and in writing for UK and international publications, predominantly about food, drink and hospitality across the North of England and Scotland.

She has written and reviewed for publications including the i Paper, iNews, National Geographic Traveller Food, The Caterer, SquareMeal, The Scotsman, The Yorkshire Post, Postcards magazine, and I Love MCR, where she also spent several years as Editor.

She has judged at food festivals and events including World Steak Challenge, the British Pie Awards (where she is a class leader, having judged for 10 years), Smithfield Awards (Q Guild of Butchers), Grillstock, the Kansas City Barbeque Society, the Manchester Food & Drink Festival Awards, and Wing Fest.
