Below are some of our frequently asked questions, if you have not found your answer here, please contact us directly.

The entry deadline is 8th July 2024. We only have a certain number of entries we can accept so get you entry in early to avoid disappointment.

Yes. As long as the product is purchasable by the industry whether that be direct via your website or a third party website you are eligible.

No, you can enter as many products as you like but each individual product can only be entered into one category. Each steak will fit into a category.

The wagyu category is only for full blood wagyu breeds, all crossbreeds must be entered into the relevant cut categories.

There is no limit, but entries of 3 or more automatically qualify for a 10% discount!

Entries must be sent as primal off the bone beef. We need enough to cut 6 (2cm thick) steaks from this for judging purpose. This informative video will provide you with more information.

Entries must be delivered to Vlees & Co, Albert Molhof 1, 1031 JK Amsterdam, Netherlands during the period of Monday 9th or Tuesday 10th of September, between the hours of 9:00 and 15:00 only.

We limit delivery to two days, the date of which is listed above. In exceptional circumstances, we can look at alternative pre-agreed arrangements, but this may need to be to a different address. Please contact Holly Pye to see if this is possible.

The list of gold, silver and bronze medal winners will be announced in early October. All Gold medal winners will then be invited to attend the Awards in London on the 11th November, tickets for the event can be purchased here.

All entered and judged products will receive a dedicated report which will be sent out no later than one month after the Awards ceremony on 11th November.

We will recognise excellence by awarding multiple gold, silver or bronze medal in each category using our scoring criteria.

All medallists and winners will receive logos along with a 'Make the most of your win' pack to promote their success at the World Steak Challenge. These logos can be used indefinitely providing they remain dated.

Bronze, Silver and Gold winners will receive a digital certificate if requested. Gold medal winning companies as well as overall winners will receive a trophy at the awards ceremony on 11th November.

Overall category winners will be announced at Smith and Wollensky in London on 11th November. Gold medal winning companies will also be recognised at this event.
