Welcome to the
World Steak Challenge, reimagined.

Launched in 2015 to deliver a recognised stamp of quality to support world-class steak production on a global platform, we give steak producers from across the world a unique opportunity to benchmark product quality, breed credentials and processing standards on the international stage.

Does your Steak
make the cut?

After eight successful years and with 25 steak producing countries having participated, we're continuing on our mission to hunt down the best beef steak producers and reward the world’s best steaks. Whether your steaks are grass or grain fed, we want to hear from beef producers, cattle farmers and ranchers, beef processors, steak brands and beef wholesalers.

So are you up for the challenge? Enter your best fillet, ribeye, sirloin or wagyu steak now and put your finest cuts to the test.

Judging Integrity

The World Steak Challenge prides itself on offering an independent, robust and fair judging process from start to finish. Integrity is at the heart of everything we do. Every steak is judged on its own merits against the internationally agreed judging criteria.

Stage One – Technical judging

All steaks are scored blindly on raw and cooked criteria by our expert panel of judges.

Stage Two – Scoring

All scores are totalled and the winners are verified by our judging panel.

Independent

The judging is independent and monitored at every stage. Every steak is judged on its own merits against the internationally agreed judging criteria.

Results

All steaks have the chance to win a gold, silver or bronze medal. The top-scoring steak will receive the coveted award of The World's Best Steak.
