Congratulations to this year's winners!
Congratulations to our 2023
World Steak Challenge winners!
After two days of judging hosted at Vlees & Co Steakhouse, Amsterdam where 80 independent industry experts gathered to score all of this year’s entrants according to both raw and cooked criteria. All of this year's entrants were then awarded a gold, silver or bronze medal prior to this year's official awards ceremony.
On Monday 13 November 2023, over 150 people from across the globe gathered at the Smith & Wollensky, London for an exclusive awards ceremony, which saw Jack's Creek’s Sirloin Steak take home the coveted crown of the World’s Best Steak.

Judging Integrity
The World Steak Challenge prides itself on offering an independent, robust and fair judging process from start to finish. Integrity is at the heart of everything we do. Every steak is judged on its own merits against the internationally agreed judging criteria.

Stage One – Technical judging
All steaks are scored blindly on raw and cooked criteria by our expert panel of judges.

Stage Two – Scoring
All scores are totalled and the winners are verified by our judging panel.

Independent
The judging is independent and monitored at every stage. Every steak is judged on its own merits against the internationally agreed judging criteria.

Results
All steaks have the chance to win a gold, silver or bronze medal. The top-scoring steak will receive the coveted award of The World's Best Steak.
