Matt has an extensive culinary background, having worked for the Four Seasons and The Waldorf. Matt built his early career in pastry, having competed around the world and won a Gold medal at the Culinary World Cup and a Gold medal at the Culinary World Cup.
Matt is also the Chairman of the Craft Guild of Chefs, an organisation with over 2000 members. Established in 1885 as a Guild of the Cookery and Food Association, the Craft Guild of Chefs has developed into the leading Chefs’ Association in the UK and has many members worldwide. CGOC members come from all aspects of the foodservice and hospitality sectors working in a wide variety of positions from students and trainees to top management. No other association boasts such a broad and experienced membership.
