With over 20 years of experience in the butchery industry, Brendan has built his career around quality, innovation and support for the craft butchery sector. As Director of an award-winning retail butchery for more than 10 years, he successfully grew the business while earning recognition for product quality, customer service and business excellence. Today, Brendan works with the Associated Craft Butchers of Ireland, where he supports independent butchers across the country in areas including business development, industry advocacy, training, events and member services. His role involves working closely with retailers, suppliers and government stakeholders to help ensure the long-term success and sustainability of Ireland’s craft butchery sector.
