Together with his family, Tim Meagher sources Charolais-cross cattle from Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way and raises them in the rich grassland of his ancestral home in Tipperary.
With a passion for producing perfect steak, Tim has spent 20 years honing traditional grass grazing methods with contemporary clover-based, natural fertiliser. Striving for carbon neutrality, he uses rotational grazing systems and all feeding inputs are home-grown on the farm. This commitment to sustainability also enables Tim to consistently produce top-quality beef with a beautiful “marbling” effect.
While championing the type of sustainable farming practices that raise the standards of Irish beef production ever higher, Tim also works with the Irish food representatives, Bord Bia, to show the world what he is so passionate about- great Irish steak!
