Gordon is currently the Brands Development Manager at Quality Meat Scotland Experienced. He is an experienced butcher with over 39 years of experience within the red meat sector.

Gordon has worked his way up through the sector from Apprentice to Butcher through to National Account Manager and Brands Development Manager. The taste testing is completed weekly on various products in conjunction with red meat processing companies.

He is also on the committee for QMS's recently published meat-eating quality guide. Gordon was recently Team GB Judge in the World Butchers Challenge in Sacramento, California. He has also judged competitions in the Netherlands, England and France. His passion for the industry keeps him going and is very proud to call himself a butcher.

His passion is to continue to enhance and improve the young people in the industry continue to progress and make it their valued career.
