Co-owner of a small independent restaurant group with sites in Central London, Sophie Bathgate opened the original Sophie's Steakhouse in 2002, long before 'steak' became a restaurant genre! Along with life long friend Rupert Power, Sophie operates Sophie's Steakhouse in Chelsea, the original neighbourhood steak restaurant specialising in native breed British beef, dry aged & butchered in house.

In 2017 the pair opened, Sophie's Soho, a huge west end site, famous for both its giant 10oz martinis & big sharing cuts of beef, grilled over wood & charcoal on a bespoke firepit in the centre of the steakhouse. A passion for the very best quality beef & giving people at great time runs at the very the heart of our business.
