Adam Woods is Beef Editor with Irelands largest farming publication the Irish Farmers Journal.
He holds a Masters degree in Agricultural Science and previously worked with Teagasc holding advisory, specialist and research roles with the state agricultural advisory and research body from 2006-2016.
He was brought up on a beef and sheep farm in Co. Cavan where he now lives with his wife and four children. He has a keen interest in beef breeding and suckler systems and industry issues pertaining to the Irish beef industry. As part of his work with the Irish Farmers Journal he has travelled the world visiting beef farms in South America, New Zealand, USA and all across Europe. He is passionate about the role that beef farmers can play in meeting climate change objectives while feeding an increasing global population at the same time.
